WEBY 1330 AM, Northwest Florida’s Talk Radio is now the most powerful AM radio station on the Gulf Coast between New Orleans and Tampa. Last year the station completed a signal upgrade from the previous 5000 watts to the current 25,000 watts.
WEBY, which had previously served central Santa Rosa County, can now be heard in all of Escambia and Santa Rosa counties in Florida, plus Escambia, Baldwin, and Mobile counties in Alabama. Some coverage extends into Okaloosa county as well. Calls from listeners as far away as Mississippi and Louisiana have come in since the station began operating at the increased power in May 2006.
WEBY is a news/talk radio station featuring the best nationally syndicated programming available in the country including Pensacola High School graduate Neal Boortz, Clark Howard, Michael Reagan, and Dennis Prager.
In addition, WEBY airs five hours a day of local programming beginning with Dave Daughtry’s “Mornin’ Folks” from 6am to 8am with all the information you need to start your day. From 8am – 9am, Mike Mashburn hosts “Open Mic” the first opportunity for you to join the conversation with what’s on your mind.
