The county is also served by two smaller hospitals operated by Baptist Health Care and located in Gulf Breeze and Jay. Both hospitals are located next to medical office buildings for physicians.
Gulf Breeze Hospital is a 60-bed facility. Jay Hospital, located in northern Santa Rosa County, is a 55-bed facility serving the people of Jay, Century, Flomaton and other small communities in the area. The hospital provides acute, emergency and long-term care. Specialized services including CT scans, mammography, ultrasound and echoencephalography are also available at the hospital through a mobile service which visits the hospital regularly.
Baptist Health Care also offers two primary care centers in the county, Gulf Breeze Internal Medicine Associates and Navarre Family Medicine Center.
